Lukas’ work was selected by creative professionals as the most accomplished in the nation.

This year, nearly 320,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Nearly 19,000 works earned regional Gold Key Awards and advanced to New York City for national adjudication. Of those Gold Key works, less than 1 percent were recognized at the national level.

Students receiving top awards have been invited to attend a June 2 ceremony at Carnegie Hall to participate in showcase events at the Parsons School of Design at The New School and Pratt Institute’s Pratt Manhattan Gallery in New York City.

Lukas is representing Wooster School in this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Wooster School is an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school, serving students from Fairfield and Westchester counties. The school serves students from pre-K through grade 12.
