Student At Danbury's Wooster School Performs At Choir Festival

DANBURY, Conn. – Trevor Jones, an 11th-grader at the Wooster School in Danbury, sang in the Connecticut Music Educators Association Western Regional Music Festival last week as a member of the Western Regional Choir.

In November, Jones auditioned for and was accepted into the Festival. This was the second year in a row that Trevor performed with the Western Regional Choir. Participants followed a grueling rehearsal schedule, beginning Friday afternoon through Saturday, and ended in a Saturday afternoon concert.

The concert took place at Trumbull High School. The Connecticut Music Educators Association provides programs and activities for professional educators, students, and future music educators striving to enhance the quality of music education for all children.
