Trumpeter Dave Guy Visits Danbury's Wooster School

DANBURY, Conn. – Danbury's Wooster School welcomed trumpeter Dave Guy to its campus on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Manhattan native Guy plays trumpet with The Roots on NBC’s "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon," and is also a member of the band Dujeous, Daptone Records funk bands the Dap-Kings, Sugarman 3, Menahan Street Band, Budos Band and is first trumpeter in Charles Tolliver's Big Band.

He has toured with Amy Winehouse and played for Mark Ronson, Nancy Sinatra, Wynton Marsalis and Lily Allen.

While at Wooster, Guy worked with the upper and middle school student musical groups including jazz ensemble and contemporary improvisation ensemble.
