Western Connecticut To Plant Permaculture Garden At Midtown Danbury Campus

DANBURY, Conn. -- A permaculture garden being launched by the Jane Goodall Center for Environmental Studies at Western Connecticut State University will be planted on the midtown campus in Danbury behind the science building on Monday, April 27, at 1 p.m.

Roots & Shoots Club members, faculty, staff and volunteers from the community have been working hard on the garden design, and this initiative has been long in the making.

The Jane Goodall Center is led in this effort by Ryan Harb, who received a Champions of Change Award from President Barack Obama for his permaculture garden work the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
