An information session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1 for parents and professionals to learn more about Wooster’s Prospect Program.

The program is for students in Grades 6-8. Starting with just two students in 2011, the program now has 18 students, who are all flourishing both academically and socially.

The Wooster’s Prospect Program's mission is providing a personalized educational experience that gives students the academic and social skills they need to continue their schooling as they approach adulthood. We believe there is no "one size fits all" solution for remedying learning disabilities. With a clear emphasis on explicit, direct instruction and diagnostic teaching, Wooster's teachers and staff uniquely tailor instruction to unequivocally meet the needs of each student.

The Prospect Program has newly renovated space on the Wooster campus. This allows for seamless integration for the Prospect students into campus life.

“We are energized by being part of the fabric of main campus life,” said Stephanie Bell, head of the Prospect Program.

To RSVP for the information session, contact Director of Prospect and Bridge Admissions Jordana Levine, Psy.D. at Jordana.Levine@woosterschool.org or 203-730-6725.
