Sand Rand, a middle school dean of students at Wooster, introduced Dominguez during the ceremony.

“I am so honored to be here and have the opportunity to speak about a young woman with whom I have had the pleasure of sharing this middle school adventure with and who truly exemplifies the guiding principles of our school; To be gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave,” Rand said, according to a press release. “Just as these core values live and breathe in our classrooms, art studios, sports fields, and jobs program - they live and breathe in Karelin as well.”
