Rob Murray, entering his 15th season as head coach, said the team sets it goals high.

"Last year we were FCIAC champs, Class LL champs, and state runner-up," Murray said. "I think we'd like to contend for the conference and state championships.

"We were state indoor champs, and this team is just as good. We have a lot of experience, and good balance."

Danbury High is set to open the 2015 track and field season on Thursday, April 9, hosting Greenwich High School.
