'Run Or Dye' 3-Mile Race Steps Off At Danbury's WestConn Campus

DANBURY, Conn. -- A 3-mile fun run Sunday in Danbury promises to be a colorful event for everyone taking part. 

The "Run or Dye: Get fit or dye trying" race is set for Sunday morning ar WestConn.

Dubbed "Run or Dye: Get fit or dye trying" is a 3-mile race that fires off in a blaze of color bombs; color cannons, color mortars, (all made of colored corn starch dust) and multi-toned courses that guarantee your outlook will be brighter.

The Recreation Department at Western Connecticut State University will host the3-mile fun run on the Westside campus in Danbury on Sunday, Oct. 26. 

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Ives Concert Park Pavilion. The race starts at 10 a.m. Registration is $15 on Race Day.

Bring a change of clothes; showers will be available after the race. The race is open to student, faculty, staff and the public.
