Student At Danbury's Wooster School Earns Soccer Honor

DANBURY, Conn. – The Wooster School’s Zack Karpen of Weston has been named an All-State honoree by the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association for the second consecutive year.

Every year, the organization recognizes one player from each team for outstanding performance.

Calie Carter, Wooster School's varsity boys soccer coach, attributes Karpen’s leadership skills and work ethic to the success of the team over the past two seasons.

The coach also highlighted Karpen’s will to help teammates overcome personal obstacles.

During the past two seasons, Karpen has started in every game and played nearly every position.

The Wooster School is an independent college preparatory school enrolling students from Fairfield and Westchester counties. Located in Danbury, the school serves students from prekindergarten through grade 12.
