The crash, reported around 5 p.m., was on the eastbound side near the Connecticut border.
An earlier accident nearby, just south of I-84, has been cleared. It resulted in the closure of a stretch of Route 121 (Peach Lake Road) north of Bloomer Road in North Salem.
