Route 25 In Newtown Closed After Motorcycle Crash

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Mt.Pleasant Road/Route 25 was closed Thursday afternoon in the area of the Old Road in Newtown, according to the Newtown Police Department.

There is a serious accident involving a motorcycle in the area, which is just west of the borough of Newtown and the flagpole, police said. The accident alert was issued just past 3 p.m. Thursday.
