Chilly, Sunny Weather Kicks Off Thanksgiving Week In Danbury

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — The weather will be mostly sunny and chilly in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, though there is a chance that some rain could hit Fairfield County on Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 43, according to the National Weather Service. Wind chill values will be between 30 and 35 during the day, and a west wind of 11 to 17 mph is predicted. Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 31.

Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 55, though wind chill values will be between 25 and 35 early in the day. There is a 40 percent chance of rain Tuesday night, mainly after 1 a.m. Otherwise the night will be increasingly cloudy, with a low around 41.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain on Wednesday, mainly before noon. The rest of the day will be partly sunny, with a high near 50. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 26.

Thanksgiving day will be sunny, with a high near 41. Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 29. 

It will be sunny on Friday, when the high will be near 44. Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 32.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers on Saturday. The rest of the day will be partly sunny, with a high near 48. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. It will be partly sunny on Sunday, when the high will be near 41.
