The worst of the storm, coming Wednesday night, will still be further south, but a secondary storm is coming from Canada Thursday night.
Wednesday should see little to any snow accumulation during the day, Accuweather Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said, only some rain and wet snow. The snow from the southern storm will most likely hit Fairfield County Wednesday night giving the area between two and four inches of snow.
The wind will increase into Thursday during the day bringing the temperature with wind chill to the upper 20's. Little precipitation should occur during the day, but the second storm from Canada will likely bring another one to two inches of snow over Thursday night.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Southern Fairfield County which includes a wind advisory and a coastal flooding watch.
