Periods of light rain can be expected Thursday morning, with breaks in the precipitation and the cloud cover this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The day will be mostly cloudy, with a light east wind. Temperatures will reach highs in the mid-60s to around 70 inland, with highs in the lower 60s along the coast.
Another round of precipitation will hit Thursday evening into Friday as a cold front approaches from the west. The chance of precipitation Thursday night is 80 percent, with showers and thunderstorms possible after 4 a.m. The low will be around 46.
The rain will continue into Friday, with showers likely and a thunderstorm possible before 10 a.m. There will be scattered showers throughout the day, as well as patchy fog before noon. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent. The high will be near 59, with a northeast wind around 5 to 8 mph. Dry weather will return Friday night, which is expected to be mostly cloudy with a low around 45.
