Warm, Clear Weather Expected For Most Of The Week In Danbury

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County can expect a warm, mostly clear week of weather, though there are a few spots when rain or storms may be possible.

Monday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 82, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a light and variable wind that will become a south wind of 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Tonight there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 a.m., but is mostly expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. There isa  slight chance of showers before 9 a.m., and then a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 64.

It will warm up a bit on Wednesday, which will be sunny with a high near 88. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 63.

Thursday will be partly sunny, with a high near 82. Thursday night will see a 50 percent chance of showers after 8 p.m. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 67.

There is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Friday night will see a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.
