Chipotle To Open At Danbury Fair Mall In May

DANBURY, Conn. - Chipotle Mexican Grill will finally open its doors at the Danbury Fair Mall on Memorial Day, offering a reprieve from the Cheesecake Factory lines and the hustle of the food court.

The Chipotle is located near the LL Bean and the Cheesecake Factory at the Danbury Fair Mall. The sign is already up outside.

The official opening date, Monday, May 27, is listed on the Danbury Fair Mall website.

In a previous incarnation, the lower-level site near the main entrance had been Pizzeria Uno, which closed about a year ago after nearly two decades in the Danbury mall.

The new Mexican-style restaurant chain was founded in 1993 and has since spread around the globe. It describes itself as having "food with integrity."
