The Seattle-based coffee chain is apparently looking to open a store in the Berkshire Shopping Center on Newtown Road. The WLAD report said Starbucks wants to construct a 2,000-square foot building on the site of a former coffee hut.

Starbucks already has multiple locations in Danbury, including the Danbury Fair Mall, Mill Plain Road, North Street and on Federal Road. There are also locations in Bethel, a little more than two miles from the proposed location, and in New Fairfield, Ridgefield and Newtown.
