DANBURY, Conn. -- A Common Ground, a community arts center in Danbury, is hosting a "Teens for Jeans'' drive through Saturday.
Residents are invited to bring gently worn jeans to the center at 33 Crosby St. in Danbury. The best times to drop off are between 5 and 7 p.m. weekdays and 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The drive is organized by students at Danbury High School. The jeans will be donated people in need in the community.
Over the past several years, Ae?ropostale and DoSomething.org have been partners in Teens for Jeans, collecting over 4.3 million pairs of jeans to donate to homeless teens. To learn more or participate in Teens for Jeans, visit teensforjeans.com .
