Members of the Danbury Garden Club guided the volunteers from UTC's Danbury office in sprucing up the grounds and gardens at the Danbury Museum.

The club oversees and tends the garden's on a regular basis.

With the additional volunteers on Wednesday, the crews went to work gardening, pruning, cutting back dead flowers, transplanting small flowers, raking and doing general cleanup.

The project was just one of more than 30 completed at area nonprofit agencies during the United Way’s Day of Action. The UTC volunteers were among nearly 550 from 27 local businesses and corporations demonstrated their commitment to volunteerism and community support.
