Bethlehem resident Dominic Dinunzio, 57, was arrested by state police on July 19, when troopers spotted him at the restaurant in Woodbury.

Dinunzio was charged on the active warrant with four counts of importing dogs without a health certificate and one count of operating a pet shop without a license, which was applied for by Connecticut State Animal Control and issued by the Torrington Superior Court earlier this year.

He was released on $2,500 bond and is due back in court on Aug. 2 to answer the charges.
