Danbury Orders Cars Off Streets In Snow Emergency

DANBURY, Conn. -- In a reverse call to residents, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton declared a Level 1 snow emergency on Wednesday afternoon.

Boughton ordered residents to move their cars off city streets to allow plows to begin clearing snow.

Danbury also closed City Hall at noon on Wednesday. It will reopen on Monday, Dec. 1.

A total of 4 to 8 inches of snow is expected to fall in the area.
