Delays On Metro-North Danbury Line After Car Hits Gate

DANBURY, Conn. -- Customers on the Metro-North Danbury Line can expect some delays Tuesday after a car hit a gate in Danbury.

The 10:30 a.m. train from Danbury to South Norwalk has been canceled, though customers will be able to take a 12:03 p.m. substitute bus service, Metro-North said.

The incident was reported at around 11 a.m. in the vicinity of East Liberty Street, a Metro-North spokesperson said. There were no injuries reported. Metro-North did not have an estimated time for when full service would be restored. 

Police are on the scene of the East Liberty Street accident, and are letting cars through.
