Metro-North Adds Extra Trains For Women's March In NYC Saturday

Metro-North will provide additional trains on the Hudson and New Haven lines on Saturday, Jan. 20 to accommodate people traveling to and from the Women's March being held in New York City.

The march, which is being held on the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of President Donald Trump, is scheduled to begin with a pre-march rally at 11:30 a.m., followed by the march at 12:30 p.m.

Four additional trains will be added to the morning inbound service to New York City on Saturday. Additional trains will be added to the afternoon outbound service on an as-needed basis.

Passengers should also expect larger than normal crowds at Grand Central Terminal during the day.
