Pilot Safe After Plane From Danbury Airport Crashes Near Watertown

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A Ridgefield pilot who took off from Danbury Airport was not injured when his small plane crashed Tuesday morning in a field in Watertown, according to NBC Connecticut

Pilot Daniel Kropas was heading to Waterbury Airport in Plymouth when his plane missed power lines as it crashed, landing backwards, NBC Connecticut said.

No injuries were reported. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
