23-Year-Old Woman Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- A 23-year-old Bethel woman was struck and killed early Saturday by a hit-and-run driver near South Street and Great Pasture Road in Danbury, Patch.com reported.

Police told Patch that the woman was struck by a dark-colored SUV while walking near Michaels II Cafe at 12:03 a.m. Saturday. The driver fled the scene, Patch.com said.

Anyone with information on the accident is asked to call Sgt. Rory DeRocco from Danbury Police Department’s Traffic Division at 203-797-2157.
