Brandon Gonzalez, 18, turned himself in to police Monday, Nov. 16, on an active arrest warrant, police said. He is the second suspect to face charges in the shooting, police said.

The arrest warrant was granted as a result of an investigation conducted by General Investigations Division detectives of a shooting at 10:40 p.m. Oct. 29 outside of a residence on School Ridge Road, police said.

A 22-year-old male victim suffered one gunshot wound to his right leg/groin area in the incident, police said.

He had been visiting friends on School Ridge Road when Alexander Chadee-Sierra Jr., 22, of the Bronx, arrived and had Gonzalez summon the victim outside, police said.

As the victim left the residence, Chadee-Sierra fired two shots, striking him once, police said. Chadee-Sierra and Gonzalez then fled in a vehicle, headed for the Bronx, police said.

At the time of the shooting, several people were in the apartment, including a 4-year-old boy, who was standing just inside the doorway, police said.

The victim was transported to the Danbury Hospital, where he was treated and subsequently released.

Gonzalez was charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit assault and first-degree accessory to assault. He was held on a court-ordered bond of $250,000.

Chadee-Sierra, who turned himself in to Danbury police on Monday, was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor, police say. He was held on $250,000 bond.
