Chaplain Remains In Critical Condition After Danbury Gas Station Fire

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Rev. David Wentroble remained in critical condition in Bridgeport Hospital after an explosion at a Danbury gas station Friday, Dec. 20, according to newstimes.com.

Wentroble a Nyack Hospital chaplain and a minister at Central Presbyterian Church in Haverstraw, N.Y.

He sustained burns over most of his body after the explosion at the Citgo station on Tamarack Avenue. Danbury police were investigating the cause of the fire, newstimes.com reported.
