DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man has been charged with the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old boy for an incident that took place in July, according to Danbury Police Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio.
Baltazar Lopez, 55, was arrested on Thursday following an investigation by the department's Special Victims Unit, said Carrocccio.
The investigation was initiated after the department received a complaint on July 18 involving the sexual abuse of the 11-year-old male, said Carroccio.
Lopez was picked up without incident and is currently being held at the Danbury Police Department on $200,000 bond.
