DANBURY — A 48-year-old Danbury man is facing weapons charges after he was apprehended with an unlicensed, loaded gun at a city shelter, according to the News-Times.
According to police who were called to the Dorothy Day Hospitality House on Spring Street, Jeffrey DeMayo of South Street had a loaded, unlicensed gun in his possession, the story said. Police seized the weapon without incident, said the New-Times.
DeMayo was charged with carrying a gun without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm and breach of peace, added the News-Times.
