DANBURY, Conn. -- A 22-year-old Danbury man is facing burglary and threatening charges after Danbury police said he took a baseball bat to try and collect on a $40 debt by forcing his way into a Spruce Street house, according to newstimes.com.
Felipe Carmo, of Harvard Road, is charged with first-degree burglary and threatening, and his bond was set at $5,000, said newstimes.com.
No injuries were reported in the Friday incident. The newstimes.com reports that the victim alerted police, who arrested Carmo at the scene.
