Ar about 6 p.m., the mother and child were in a crosswalk in front of the Laurel Gardens housing complex when a woman driving an Oldsmobile accidentally struck them, according to newstimes.com.

The two were taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, newstimes.com reported.
