Danbury Police Officer Injured While Chasing Suspect Downtown

DANBURY, Conn. — A man was arrested and a police officer was injured after a short foot chase Thursday afternoon in downtown Danbury, police told the News-Times.com.

There were five outstanding warrants for the man, who was chased from a pawn shop to Bank Street, where he was apprehended near the Danbury Library, the News-Times said.

The extent of the officer's injuries was not known, the report said.
