Empty Mercedes-Benz Pulled From Candlewood Lake In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. — A 2006 Mercedes-Benz C280 with its lights still on was pulled from about 10 to 12 feet of water in Candlewood Lake in Danbury late Sunday, according to multiple media reports.

There was no one in the car, which was found about 80 feet from the boat ramp at the Danbury Town Park on Hayestown Avenue, WLAD-AM.com said. 

The Danbury and Brookfield Police Department dive teams searched the water after a 9:15 p.m. call to 911, but no one was found, the New-Times website said.
