Vincent Martire, 72, of Stratford, was arrested by Monroe Police on Tuesday, Nov. 13 and charged with public indecency and breach of peace following an investigation, said Monroe Police Department Lt. Steve Corrone.

Corrone said a female homeowner had hired Martire to paint her back porch and when he had finished the job the woman was in the process of paying him when she noticed his pants were unzipped and his genitals were exposed.

The woman called police after Martire left the home.
