Smell Of Gas In Air Before Explosion At Danbury Station

DANBURY, Conn. -- A witness who was at the Citgo gas station in Danbury just moments before an explosion Friday, Dec. 20, said there was a very prevalent smell of gas in the air, according to newstimes.com. 

Danbury Police are waiting to interview Rev. David Wentroble, who is in critical condition, before releasing a cause of the Citgo gas station explosion on Friday, Dec. 20.

The explosion left the Rev. David Wentroble in critical condition in the burn unit of Bridgeport Hospital, newstimes.com reported.

Until police officials can interview Wentroble, they will not release a cause of the explosion, according to newstimes.com.
