Teen Injured In Hit-And-Run Accident In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury teen was listed in fair condition after being hit by a motorist who fled the scene on Lake Avenue Extension on Sunday, according to NewsTimes.com.

Nicholas Oetero was hit while crossing the street between the McDonald's and the Gulf gas station, the NewsTimes said. Oetero's mother, Setina Galarza, said a nearby driver spotted her son lying in the road and called police, saving him from being hit again, NewsTimes.com reported. 

There was no description of the vehicle the ran Oetero, NewsTimes.com said.
