Officers responded to Smith Field Park at the corner of Route 46 east and Baldwin Road and found a 2006 Lincoln Town Car on the turf field around 10:50 a.m., Parsippany Police Sgt. Brian Conover told Daily Voice.

The 17-year-old driver told police that she had lost control of the vehicle while turning left from Southbound Baldwin Road onto Route 46 east.

The vehicle veered off the roadway, crashed into the curb, hit two fences, and went over a six-foot-high retaining wall before landing on the turf field, Conover said.

The driver and her passenger were uninjured in the crash, which remains ongoing. No traffic summons had been issued.
