DANBURY, Conn. -- Two teens in Torrington were arrested Tuesday on charges of making threats to high schools in Danbury and Stratford, according to a report from the Register Citizen.
Torrington police arrested the two 18-year-olds in connection with threats made against the two schools, according to the report. The teens had no connections to the schools, the report said.
An alert about the threat was issued by the Danbury School District on Tuesday, according to the report. The superintendent of Stratford schools said she was only aware of “rumors" Tuesday, according to the report.
