Two-Vehicle Accident Cleared From I-84 In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. — Traffic backups were being reported on a foggy Wednesday morning on I-84 westbound in Danbury, according to the Department of Transportation.

The traffic jam lasts for 1.5 miles between Exits 3 and 1 because of the crash near Exit 1, DOT said.

Motorists should expect lane closures in the area, DOT warned.

The accident was reported at 7:45 a.m.

It was not clear when the accident scene would be cleared.
