Cupcakes And Burgers Coming To Danbury Fair Mall

DANBURY, Conn. - The national cupcake restaurant Crumbs is joining the list of new restaurants coming to the Danbury Fair Mall this year.

Crumbs is well know for its large variety and flavors of cupcakes. It will be bringing its selections to the Danbury Fair Mall.

This will be the fifth location for the chain in Connecticut; the others are in Westport, New Canaan, Stamford and Greenwich.

No date has been announced for the opening of the delectable bakery.

The much-anticipated opening of Chipotle is set for Memorial Day, May 27.

And two burger joints are joining the family of mall restaurants. Red Robin will be moving in near the spot vacated by Eastern Mountain Sports. No exact date has been set for its opening. EMS moved across the street to the Shops At Marcus Dairy. Every storefront there has been filled. (Read about the new stores here on The Daily Voice.)

The Burger Joint will open next to Chipotle, and the mall website says it plans to open sometime this summer. Those two eateries are splitting the space formerly filled by Pizzeria Uno.
