A major retailer primarily located in malls and headquartered in Pennsylvania is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. A recall has been issued for a popular brand of apple juice due to high levels of arsenic. S. Martinelli & Co. said the recall is for a single lot of Martinelli’s Apple Juice, one-liter (33.8-ounce) bottles. The recalled product has a “Best By” date of “09MAR2026” or “10MAR2026” on the front of the bottle above the label. Authorities continue to investigate the 1975 disappearance of Wendy Eaton. Eaton was last seen on May 17 of that year near the intersection of Indian Lane and Media Station Road in Media, according to state police. According to a 2021 report by NBC Philadelphia, she was headed into town to buy a gift for her brother when she vanished. Autopsy Scheduled For Infant Found 'Unresponsive' In Central PA Apartment
The baby who was found "unresponsive" in a Harrisburg apartment has died, officials told Daily Voice Friday. The unidentified infant was first discovered to be unresponsive in a Hall Manor apartment around 7 p.m. on May 2, according to officials. Life-saving measures were used before the baby was taken to UPMC Harrisburg, where they later passed, officials explained. Crews Called To Overnight House Fire In Paoli
First responders rushed to the scene of a house fire in Paoli just after midnight Friday morning, May 3. The Paoli Fire Company said it happened on the second floor of a home on the 50 block of West Central Avenue. Firefighters were able to place the flames under control in just 20 minutes, officials said. One resident was evaluated by medics at the scene and declined to be taken to the hospital, they added.
