I-684 Reopens After Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into I-84 Overpass Exit Ramp
This story has been updated. A stretch of I-684 has reopened after a tractor-trailer hauling an oversized modular home crashed into the Interstate 84 overpass exit ramp in Putnam County on Monday. The I-84 Exit 20 ramp has also reopened. The incident at Exit 20 in Southeast occurred around 11:15 a.m. Jan. 7, causing the closure of northbound I-684 at Exit 9W. The lanes reopened shortly before 3 p.m. Traffic was detoured onto I-84 during the closure and the I-84 Exit 20 ramp was also closed to I-684 southbound. This continues to be a developing story. This story has been updated. There were stop-and-go delays on a stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County during the Thursday evening commute following a crash that blocked the right lane. This story has been updated. Two crashes caused commuters and holiday travelers delays late Thursday afternoon into the evening. There were stop-and-go delays on northbound I-684 following a crash at Route 35 (Exit 6) in Katonah reported just before 4:30 p.m. Delays stretched back to Route 172 (Exit 4) in Bedford. This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County late Saturday afternoon following a serious crash. The crash, reported just before 4:30 p.m., occurred on the southbound side between Route 33/136 (Exit 17) and East Avenue (Exit 16) in Norwalk, with stop-and-go delays of up to a half-hour to Sherwood Island (Exit 18) in Westport.

Traffic Alert Issued For Hutch Bridge Replacement Project In Westchester Through Weekend
A busy intersection off the Hutchinson River Parkway is going to be busier this weekend as contracting crews continue construction work as part of the ongoing bridge replacement project in Westchester. The New York State Department of Transportation advised police in Mount Vernon that they will be closing East Third Street beginning on the morning of Friday, Nov. 30 from Warwick Avenue to the Hutchinson River Parkway.
